High Up

This is a painting of the historical St.James Church in Hespeler, Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. I called this piece "High Up", because the church is located on the top of a hill. It feels great to stand up there beside the church and to experience the fantastic view.

This church attracted me not because I am religious, but because it felt so grand (with its regal spot atop the hill) and yet humble (with it's peeling paint and relatively small size).
