A Poinsettia for my Mom

I painted my Mom's poinsettia plant so that no matter what she would always have it. :) 

This is also one of my first paintings which involved mostly reds and wow was it difficult! I don't think that I got the values correct and I know that there is not enough variety in the reds. I am also not sure if including the leaf veins did this painting any good. Oh well, it is still good to push myself and then move on. I like the almost watercolor affect that I was able to achieve with the Nomad brush and transparent colours. 

This was created with an iPad, a program called brushes iPad edition, and a Nomad brush.
