This is my second pyrography piece. "Pyrography or pyrogravure is the art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks resulting from the controlled application of a heated object such as a poker." Wikipedia.

In this case I used a pyrography machine which was actually built in Canada.

I designed this all by myself (I even used myself as the model, LOL). I was very inspired by an artist named Stephanie Pui-Mun Law. I adore her work.

I needed to mention that the design is mine because some who do pyrography use other artist's designs.

Squaredy Cat

This is a painting of one of my favourite stuffed toys. She is a Squaredy Cat.  The actual stuffed toy has tiger stripes, but I decided to leave them out because they were not enhancing the painting in any way.

This was created with a Bamboo graphics tablet, Photoshop Elements 10 and GIMP 2.8. $65
