I was walking by a willow tree close to my home on a particularly warm day. I later photographed that tree and then drew this tree spirit from that photograph. I have always felt that trees (especially older tress) have a personality and almost a spirit of their own.
This was created with an iPad2, a program called Brushes (iPad edition) and a nomad brush.
8"x10" prints are available. Limited editions of ten, numbered and signed. $30 (includes free shipping worldwide).

Waiting
I recently purchased a book called Fashion Illustration Inspiration and Technique by Anna Kipper. It inspired the creation of this piece. I do not posses Anna's style or flair for fashion illustration, but with more practise, I am sure that I will get better.
This was created with a Wacom Bamboo Graphics Tablet and a program called GIMP 2.

Love, Love, Love
I painted this piece as a gift to my husband for Valentine's Day. I then had this image printed on a coffee mug at Walmart. My husband absolutely loved it. :D
My favourite mythological creature is the unicorn and Andrew's is the pseudodragon. So I painted this based on our favourite mythological creatures.
I forgot how much I enjoyed doing fantasy art. I intend to do more in the future.

Night Lights
Last Friday I was waiting in my car for my husband to finish work so that I could give him a ride home. It was a rainy night which created some interesting reflections and colours on the parking lot pavement. I could not help but pull out the iPad and start painting what I saw.
I am really pleased with how this turned out. It is my first night painting using the iPad. I certainly plan to do more.

8"x10" prints are available. Limited editions of ten, numbered and signed. $30 (includes free shipping worldwide).
Please email me if you are interested in purchasing this piece.
